Fame can bring numerous perks, but it also comes with its own set of challenges. In a recent interview, actor-filmmaker Rakesh Roshan recalled a particular incident when his fame made him a target. Reflecting on this episode, Rakesh revealed how the encounter made him ‘furious’, but veteran actor Jeetendra, who was with him at the time, advised him to stay calm and leave the situation.
Speaking on Fever FM, Rakesh recounted the moment when he and Jeetendra were dining at a restaurant. A drunken man, seated right in front of them, started abusing them for no apparent reason, taking their names. “Once Jeetendra and I were sitting at a restaurant. There was a drunk man sitting right in front of us. For some reason, he began to abuse us, taking our names. I was furious looking at this. I said Jeetendra, ‘Jeetu, I think we should speak to him,’” Rakesh shared. However, Jeetendra calmly responded, saying, “Let’s go. Let’s keep quiet. We don’t know him, he knows us. So we are soft targets. So, we walked away from there. That was the lesson I learnt from him.”
